00:25:59 - Turret placement

00:29:11 - 2nd Pacific Squadron with better crew and officers?

00:43:28 - Harris diverting bombers to Coastal Command?

00:49:13 - Delayed start to WW2?

00:58:51 - Why didn‘t the admiralty take a look at the Great Eastern and order something similar (along with probably every gun in the UK)?

01:04:54 - Why did the allies even bother with the Arctic convoys after the invasion of Iran in 1941?  I know that the sea lanes were shorter and less congested but how could you justify that with a safe alternative via Iran located right next to India?

Changelog Thoughts - War Thunder

so glad the B-29's repair is going up again

War Thunder - M4 748 (a) "Herman The Emotional Support Sherman"

Our captured Sherman friend recently moved to a 4.0 Battle Rating in a recent patch. I was curious to see if he was still relevant... yup 4.0 Germany is still a monster line up.

Why upgrade Tanks

Tanks are expensive and complex. Upgrading a armored fighting vehicle is not as simple as some may think and choosing what makes most sense either in terms of cost or functionality is crucial for successful tanks.

But why don't we just buy new tank designs and why is it so much more appealing to just stick some upgrades on the vehicle or retrofit it to a more modern or sophisticated platform?

After all there is so much technological advancements in military hardware and upgrade packages now that it would be simple to slap some new stuff on a older chassis.

But, is it that simple?

Hope you enjoy!!

The Viking Attack on London Bridge

Eleventh century England faced repeated raids and invasions by Danes. As a tribute to the shifting alliances of the day, in 1014 a future King of Norway helped English king Ethelred regain his throne from invading Danes by pulling down London Bridge. The History Guy recalls a dramatic tale in the long history of a bridge that has connected people and history for over two millennia. It is history that deserves to be remembered.
